Scotland to Newcastle Ferry

Lindisfarne Castle went from being a temporary home to soldiers on detachment from the larger force based at nearby Berwick, to a gentleman's home. Although a lot was changed during the early part of the 1900s, it still retains glimpses of the old fort it once was.
